My topic is Mr. T. He is an awesome man and has been on the A-Team.

My big question is: What is R. Lee Ermey famous for and why does he yell all the time? I chose this topic because my dad (and Mr. Norman) thinks he is so cool and awesome! I know that he yells a lot.

He was born in Emporia, Kansas, in 1944, and I think he’s 67. R. Lee Ermey was most known for military roles. He was enlisted in the U.S.A. Marine Corps in 1961. The year he landed his first film was in 1975. Ermey has a wife. He married in 1975 and has four kids. He lives somewhere in America and is retired. His first name is Ronald. He’s been in all 3 Toy Story movies, and an episode of SpongeBob Squarepants and The Simpsons.

I think he is a very interesting and funny man. I think he has an amazing career.

4. He first played a Marine drill instructor (SSgt Loyce) in the 1978 Vietnam-era film The Boys in Company “C”, which brought Ermey to the attention of Stanley Kubrick in later years.
